2025 Firefighter Cancer Awareness Incentive Program

Firefighter Leadership,

LGRMS, working in conjunction with ACCG and GMA, wants to encourage the awareness of the hazards and controls surrounding firefighter cancer across the State of Georgia. Thus, we will award two fire departments (1 County, 1 City) up to $5,000 in reimbursement, toward the purchase of equipment that will assist in the reduction of firefighter cancer risks (e.g. washer extractor, ventilation equipment, decontamination, etc.). Please review the attached 2025 Firefighter Cancer Awareness Incentive Brochure for more details on this year’s program and how you could receive the $5,000 reimbursement.

Thank You, Stay Safe & Healthy
