We’re excited to invite all firefighters to join us for the 2025 Firefighters Recognition Day! This special day, established by law, is all about celebrating Georgia’s fire service community and recognizing the incredible work you do every day.

The day kicks off at the State Capitol, where state leaders will honor the contributions of all fire service personnel and present commendations to outstanding award recipients from the Georgia State Firefighters Association, Georgia Association of Fire Chiefs, and Georgia Fire Inspectors Association. 

Dinner & Awards Ceremony

That evening, join us at the Georgia Freight Depot for a fantastic barbecue dinner, cooked to perfection by the talented Vienna Fire Department team. After dinner, the spotlight will shine on the year’s top achievements during our Awards Ceremony, arting at 6:45 p.m.

This event is more than just a meal—it’s your chance to connect with state leaders, network with fellow firefighters, and share important conversations about the future of fire service in Georgia.
