The GAFC and GSFA Boards have made the difficult decision to postpone the upcoming 2021 Fire Service Conference scheduled for September 7-12, 2021 in Rome, Georgia. The factors used to make this decision are outlined below: 

1. The rise of COVID-19 cases in Georgia including those hospitalized and admitted to the ICU due to COVID-19.
2. Many agencies are facing staffing shortages and travel restrictions due to COVID-19. 
3. One of the first missions of public safety is to protect life, property, and personnel.

We plan on working with our partners in Rome to select a postponed date that will work for everyone.

What do you need to do? 

1. Reach out directly to the hotel that you booked and cancel your hotel reservations. The association cannot cancel individual reservations on your behalf.
2. Reply to us (below) and let us know if you want a refund or if you want to keep the registration active until we reschedule.
