Plans are well underway for the 54th Firefighters Recognition Day and Legislative Dinner on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
Program Details
- Recognition Day Program: 2:30 pm at the Georgia State Capitol
- Dinner Event: 5:30 pm at the Georgia Freight Depot

We plan to open registration on Monday, December 1. Additional details and the registration link will be shared soon, so please watch your email.

GSFA calls firefighters to attend SB 143 vote at Capitol today at 1:45pm in uniform. Report to Coverdell Building Room 506 to demonstrate fire service unity support.
GSFA urges members to contact Retirement Committee to support Senate Bill 143. Subcommittee meeting scheduled Tuesday 2-4pm at Coverdell Building. Action needed now.
Georgia Senate Bill 143 proposes updates to Firefighters Pension Fund to improve retirement flexibility and workforce retention. GSFA Board supports the legislation.
