GSFA Grant and Scholarship Awardees Announced

At the 2013 Georgia Fire Service Conference, a drawing was held during a GSFA Business Session to select the recipients of the GSFA Fire Department Grant and Scholarship.

Congrats to Alison Jones and Nick Clark on being selected as recipients of the 2013 GSFA Scholarship and congrats to the West Point Fire Department for being the recipient of the 2013 GSFA Fire Department Grant.

GSFA has reinstated the Grant and Scholarship Program offering one $1,000 Fire Department Grant to be used for the purpose of Fire Prevention/Education, Purchase of Equipment, Training Classes or Materials and two $500 Scholarships to a GSFA active member or the member’s spouse, child or dependent who is enrolled in an accredited undergraduate college or technical school.
